COVID-19 Pandemic
Covid-19, Coronavirus was declared as Pandemic by WHO. It all begin from Wuhan,China in the end of the year 2019. Then it start spreading all over different part of the world. It start spreading from one country to another. Unfortunately on 30th January, 2020, the first case of COVID-19 was reported in India. Then the numbers start increasing in India.
In India various steps were taken to reduce the spread of Coronavirus. On Sunday, 22nd March 2020, Janta curfew was done where everybody was allowed to stay in the home and make sure not to come outside. Then various steps were taken by the India government:
Lockdown 1.0: On 24th March, nation wide lockdown by announced for 21 days. 1.e from 24th Match to 14th April. But the numbers of people infected by Covid19 keep on increasing.
Lockdown 2.0: The lockdown was further increased to 3rd May i.e. from 15th April to 3rd May. All the district all over india was divided into 3 parts: Red, Orange and Green. Red most infected no relaxation on lockdown. Orange few relaxation given. Green many relaxation given with taking safety measures.
Lockdown 3.0: The lockdown was further increased to 17th May i.e. from 4th May to 17th May. Few special trains were started to let people reach their hometown. Few laborers, who have been stuck due to lockdown were migrated to their hometown with keeping all safety measures in mind. And international flights were arranged to bring back people from aboard.
As of 20th May cases:
Lockdown 4.0: The lockdown was further increased to 31st May i.e. 18th May to 31st May from by NDMA. In this all the essential and non essential goods were available on e-commerce. Government also released 2,00,00,00,00,00,000 (20 lakh crore) package for the Aatmanirbhar package. This amount was said to be 10 % of India's GDP.
Some trains and domestic flights were started. On 25th May, Domestic flights were started.
At the end of Lockdown 4.0 cases:
Unlock 1.0: After 4 consecutive lockdowns for around 75 Days, the Unlock in lockdown started. In Phase 1 of unlock all lockdown was released, except at Containment Zones. In Containment Zones, lockdown was still there. In all other zones, Hotels, Malls, Restaurants and Religious places was opened. But Gym, Salon Metros, and Educational Institutions was still closed. People were allowed to move freely without any passes, but in the night i.e. from 9PM to AM curfew was still maintained.
Unlock 2.0: Phase 2 of unlock started from 1st July, 2020 to 31st July, 2020.The operation of domestic flights and passenger train was further expanded in calibrated manner. Night Curfew timings have also been relaxed from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM. Meanwhile, school, colleges and coaching institutions was closed till July 31.
But Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu extended lockdown in their respected states to July 31.
Unlock 4.0: Phase 4 of unlock started from 1st September, 2020 to 30th Sept, 2020. The operation of Metro all overs the countries was allowed by 7th September. Sports, Political functions, Cultural activities were allowed with the ceiling of 100 peoples, effective from 21st September, 2020. School was resumed for classes of 9 - 12 with 50% staffs and students. Students can come only with their parent written consent.
Cinema Halls, Swimming pools,Schools and colleges, Entertainments remain closed till 30th Sept..
